THE PROBLEM

Reps were spending most of their time finding the one person who could say yes.

A rep could be handed 250 buildings and then have to resolve each one manually. That meant knocking on doors, searching the web for names and phone numbers, and working through incomplete company information.

The premium database Life Space Digital already paid for often returned LLC shells and general switchboard lines instead of the actual owner or property manager they needed. Their VP of Business Development estimated that prospecting consumed 70% of rep time across a 20-person sales team.

THE System

We turned the rep's manual research process into an agent-driven enrichment workflow.

Before building anything, we mapped how a rep actually resolves a building to the right person, source by source. We then built agents that could apply that same research logic at scale using openly available data.

01

Start with a target building and work toward the person who can make the buying decision

02

Search company websites, trade press, LLC records, and association lists

03

Resolve the account to a named owner or property manager whenever the available data supports

04

Tag every contact back to its building so the result is immediately usable by the sales team

The Outcome

The pilot reached the target resolution rate while removing a major manual research burden.

01

The pilot started with 300 companies and produced 281 unique companies after deduplication.

02

It returned 290 contacts, with 76% of companies resolved to a named person, within the 75% to 80% stretch target set for the pilot.

03

The workflow used openly available data rather than premium data subscriptions. The unresolved accounts were primarily LLC shells, buildings with little or no online footprint, and records behind paywalls.

04

The total cost was approximately $6.80 per building, including a $2.00 agent run and $4.80 in Clay enrichment.
